Krill KOAM — a vintage pink shade made from Gleabua, our lotus petal stool. Muted and warm when lit, the engraved motifs visible through the material as the light passes through.
KOAM is a lamp made from the seat of the CHOEI stool — hand-poured from recycled polypropylene and held to its stainless steel base by a pipe fitting. Originally a utilitarian choice — we were drawn to the mundane detail of the Thai industrial text aesthetic. It became the detail we kept. The imperfect stool seat repurposed as the lower half, its flaw facing downward and invisible when in use. Every imperfection finds a place.
KOAM continues our practice of remaking and repurposing, responding to the remnants and flaws along the way. A found monoblock stool remade into unique hand-poured patterns, a short stool, a side table — now a lamp.
