Single colour pieces, partly intentional, partly material-led. Our Classic colours are mixed from available recycled polypropylene — each batch carries its own subtle tone, and no colour can be exactly repeated.
Squat is CHOEI with its legs cut short. Born from legs with defects at the base, we trim what would otherwise be discarded, turning a production leftover into something made for getting close to the ground. Same mould, same material, new purpose.
Replacing the original PVC injection method with hand-poured recycled polypropylene creates marble-like patterns , transforming what was once identical and mass-produced into objects of chance. Embracing the spontaneity of an uncontrolled process, no two pieces ever form the same way, each one a unique result of the material and the process.
Began as a spontaneous repurposing of leftover legs and seats from the Classic collection that didn't match. Now intentionally made to be multicoloured — typically in 4–5 colours — each combination is still determined by available materials and may be one of a kind.
The Cherng side table brings together two distinct remnants of Thai material culture. It features incomplete Choei stool heads, traditionally discarded as production waste, where spontaneously missing rims create unique, organic forms. These are paired with repurposed dead-stock ceramic balusters, a nostalgic fixture of Roman-influenced Thai railings with a local twist of vibrant colours.
