A handcrafted Art Deco stool that reimagines a found mould. Captured by its Chinese motifs and delicate design details, we repurposed a found plastic stool mould. Reclaimed from an old factory with a twist on traditional plastic production, Choei blurs the line between the everyday mundane and the designed. 

Choei pieces are sorted by their color and material characteristics. Classics are single-colored batch to batch, and Lookchoop are multicolored. Rare features unique, one-of-a-kind patterns. Whang repurposes our incomplete stool heads to highlight their organic shapes, and Squat is our short stool made through trimming legs that come out of the mould incomplete.
